The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the Indian Squad for the upcoming tri series. Yuvraj Singh has been called back while the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh have been rested.
The Committee headed by Kris Srikkanth, selected the One Day team for the Tri Series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Lanka from 10th August.
R Ashwin and S Tiwary who are a part of current Emerging India team also have been given a chance to show their talents. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will strengthen the middle order.
But, Zaheer Khan have still not been chosen as he has not yet recovered from his injury.
Ishant Sharma has been called up for the ODIs and he will accompany Ashish Nehra, Praveen Kumar and Abhimanyu Mithun.
